My pillow is leaking, what do do now?

It is extremely unlikely that a Chiroflow pillow would leak due to a failure of the waterbag itself.

If you think your pillow is leaking, please do the following BEFORE contacting us:

Remove the cap and clean off any dirt or grit from the rubber "O-ring"
Retighten the cap USING THE FUNNEL TOOL provided with your pillow
Place the pillow on paper towels or newspaper and apply pressure with something heavy (i.e. a book) to verify that you have a proper seal.

If the pillow is still leaking after you attempt these three steps, we would be happy to replace this under the 3 Year Manufacturers Warranty. To proceed with your warranty claim, please return the defective pillow to the clinic you purchased it from for a replacement.

Is the Chiroflow® Waterbase® pillow guaranteed against manufacturing defects?

Yes, Chiroflow® Inc. provides a 3-Year Warranty covering manufacturing defects.

If you feel your pillow is defective you can return it to the clinic that you purchased it from for a replacement pillow. Please be sure to have your receipt to prove that the pillow is still under warranty.

Please note: Chiroflow pillows are only meant to be sold through our approved Australian Chiropractor stockists. We do not cover any warranties from pillows purchased from non-approved Australian Chiropractor Stockists or from third-party sellers such as on but not limited to Amazon or Ebay.

How does the 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee work?

The 30-Day satisfaction Guarantee allows patients to take the pillow home try it out, and if they don't like it, to get a full refund.

If you have purchased a Chiroflow pillow, and are dissatisfied within the 30-day period, you can return that pillow to the clinic you purchased it from (with your receipt), for a full refund.

Pillow care & usage

How do fill my pillow?

Please use the provided funnel/wrench tool to remove the cap and to act as a funnel for easy pouring and water removal.

Do not use a substitute tool, damages may occur. Do not fill the pillow with anything other than water.

The amount of water you add, really depends upon how soft or firm you prefer your pillow. We recommend starting with 2 litres which would be classified as soft. After sleeping on the pillow for a few nights you will know if this is the perfect amount for you, if not we recommend adding or replacing 250ml of water at a time and testing the pillow while you sleep.

Soft = 2 Litres

Medium = 3 Litres

Firm = 4-5 Litres

How much water should I use to start off?

One of the best features the Chiroflow® Waterbase® pillow offers is that it is completely customisable when it comes to firmness.

Patients are able to add or remove water, customising it to their desired level of comfort. To start off we suggest patients use 2 Litres of water, and work their way up from there (2 Litres is soft, 3 Litres is medium, and 4-5 Litres is firm).

Please note the maximum level to fill your pillow is 5.5 Litres.

How long can the water stay in my pillow before it needs to be changed?

The water can be left in the pillow for up to one year, and then it should be changed. Many people like to wash their pillows, so that is a good time to change the water, because you should empty the water from the pillow before washing it.

Is normal tap water OK to use in my pillow?

Yes.

If you use well water, you might want to add a few drops of bleach to the pillow water.

Can the pillow be washed?

Yes, the chiroflow pillow can be washed according to the instructions on the care label.

Original Fiber Pillow:

Empty the water from the pillow and replace the cap. Hand wash only. Tumble dry with no heat or low heat setting.

Memory Foam:

Empty the water from the pillow and replace the cap. Remove memory foam core from the zippered cover (Do not wash memory foam core). Machine wash zippered cover only on delicate cycle, cold wash. Tumble dry with no heat or low heat setting.

Which side of the pillow do I sleep on?

The pillow should be placed "cap down" against your mattress.

What is the size of the Chiroflow® Professional Waterbase® pillow?

The Chiroflow® pillow is 51cm x 71cm and will fit a standard and queen pillowcase.

Is my pillow hypoallergenic?

Yes, the Chiroflow Waterbase Pillow is hypoallergenic.

Please be assured, safety is our highest concern. There is nothing harmful in our pillows. There is no PVC in our pillow's water bags. We've also been certified by OEKO-TEX, which shows that our goods meet the human-ecological requirements needed for safe use, and we fulfill the requirements of Annex XVII of REACH - which is the American requirement regarding safety for children from harmful substances. There is also no latex in our pillows, and our fiber is made out of polyester.

Please note Chiroflow Pillows is not intended for use of children under the age of 12.
